Lavender Hydrosol is created by collecting the water in the steam distillation process of Lavender flowers in making the essential oil.

Hydrosols retain a soft muted scent of the plant, not like the essential oil. However, Hydrosols still retain many of the therapeutic properties of the essential oil.

Lavender hydrosol is wonderful ingredient to use when making linen or body sprays, in place of distilled water. This allows you to add the extra benefits of lavender in any spray you make.

Hydrosols can be used alone as well. They can be used as a face mist to refresh or tone the skin
